FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying a man suspected of cloning a bank card and using the victim’s account to make purchases throughout Fayetteville.RELATED: Pair used ‘cloned’ bank card at Chick-fil-A, Belk and other stores, NC deputies say

The suspect was caught on surveillance camera at a Kangaroo Express convenience store in Fayetteville while making a fraudulent purchase.

The suspect’s vehicle, believed to be a  Nissan, was also caught on a surveillance camera. The victim’s account had been used for other purchases at several other Kangaroo Express stores, as well as at a number of Circle K stores in Fayetteville.

The Sheriff’s Office is requesting that if anyone has information relating to the suspects that they contact the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at 910-323-1500 or Crimestoppers (910) 483-8477.
