RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Raleigh police have released two surveillance images in hopes of finding the person responsible for murdering a cab driver Tuesday night across the street from St. Augustine’s University.RELATED: Murdered Raleigh cab driver remembered by coworkers for sense of humor, easy-going manner
The incident was reported at about 6:20 p.m. at 432 Hill Street, which is listed as Universal Cab Company and is directly across the street from St. Augustine’s campus.
When police arrived, officers found a man outside who had suffered at least one gunshot wound.
Nwabu Cyril Efobi, 56, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Efobi was a cab driver for the Universal Cab Company, Raleigh police said.
