CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – A 4-year-old girl who was likely abducted and was believed to be in extreme danger was returned safe Tuesday morning, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.RELATED: Amber Alert issued for southern Va. girl
Annabelle Doretha Hope Richardson had been last seen at 400 Thomas Jefferson Highway in Charlotte, Virginia. She went missing on Nov. 9.
Annabelle is 3 feet tall and weighs 22 pounds. She has green eyes, short blond hair and a broken front tooth.
Authorities said she was likely abducted by 24-year-old Dylan James Richardson. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children says Dylan Richardson is Annabelle’s non-custodial father.
The sheriff’s office Tuesday morning that Dylan Richardson turned himself and Annabelle in to police.
They were said to have been traveling to New Jersey in a burgundy Chevy van, with Virginia plates VMG2332.
